Joel believes that navigating the complexities of medical billing should never stand in the way of a patient’s healing. Originally from Cuba, Joel earned his degree in Psychology from the Universidad de Ciencias Médicas de La Habana. Since 2020, he has brought this unique foundation of empathy and human connection to the intricate world of US medical billing.
For Joel, the primary focus is always health, followed closely by the human touch and the dedicated care of the team—ensuring that patients feel supported rather than transaction-driven. He works tirelessly to make the financial process as smooth and stress-free as possible, seamlessly aligning with the CMF Surgeons mission of treating everyone like family.
Outside of the clinic, Joel is an avid reader and an enthusiastic cook. Most of all, he loves spending quality time with his six-year-old daughter, who proudly shares a blend of his Cuban heritage and her mother’s Argentinian roots.
